One of our most venerable gedolim, Rav Moshe Sternbuch shlita, connects us to generations of greatness. Orphaned as a young child, he learned from – and developed close relationships with – many of the gedolim of the prewar generation, among them Rav Elchanan Wasserman, the Brisker Rav, Rav Dessler, the Chazon Ish, Rav Aharon of Belz, the Tchebiner Rav, and so many more.
In the Rav Sternbuch Haggadah, we clearly hear the voice of these Torah giants as he shares their Torah thoughts and personal stories about them. At the same time, we marvel at Rav Sternbuch’s own brilliant insights on Yetzias Mitzrayim, his minhagim and halachic rulings, and his inspired advice for living elevated Torah lives all year round.
